Mint diagonal stationery
Use 16 pixel stripes and 16 pixel gaps with teal and pale mint. Four periods create a 128 × 128 tile that can repeat across a larger canvas.
Design a small stripe tile and inspect it repeated across a larger area. The tile spans a whole number of stripe periods so opposite edges line up when used at its natural size.
Diagonal widths are measured across a horizontal row. Repeat the tile at its natural size for matching edges. PNG antialiasing can leave a faint seam in some renderers; SVG is preferable for web backgrounds.

Choose stripe and gap widths, both measured in pixels, and select horizontal, vertical, or 45-degree diagonal direction.
Set the two colors and the number of repeat periods in the square tile. Watch the tiled preview as you adjust them.
Download SVG or PNG and use it as a repeating background at the exported dimensions.

Use a 2 pixel stripe, 6 pixel gap, and eight repeat periods. Export the resulting 64 × 64 SVG for a sharp lightweight background.
One period equals stripe width plus gap width. The square tile size equals that period multiplied by the repeat count. Horizontal and vertical bands repeat directly. Diagonal bands follow x minus y at 45 degrees, so translating by a whole tile in either direction preserves the same stripe phase.
For diagonal stripes, the width control describes the horizontal intercept of a band. Its perpendicular thickness is that value divided by the square root of two. This convention keeps the repeat interval an integer number of pixels and makes the tile boundaries predictable.
Rasterizers can antialias pixels along a diagonal or resample a repeated tile at fractional sizes. Prefer SVG, use the natural tile dimensions, and avoid fractional background-size values when visible seams matter.
This generator supports horizontal, vertical, and exactly 45-degree diagonal stripes. Arbitrary angles require a different repeat-tile construction and are not offered here.
Yes. Set the image as a repeating background. The live tiled preview shows how multiple copies meet; the download contains only one tile.
