Lettermark for a personal site
Use a single high-contrast initial on a rounded square. Inspect the 16 pixel preview: a simple letter usually survives this reduction better than a detailed two-letter mark.
Make a compact website icon from one or two characters or a local raster logo. Adjust the shape and colors, check the smallest sizes, and download files you can place in your website’s public directory.
PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF, AVIF, BMP; up to 64 million source pixels. Animated images use a still frame.
An uploaded raster replaces the characters. It is centered and fitted without distortion. Clear the image to return to text.
ZIP includes six PNG sizes, an actual multi-frame ICO, and HTML installation snippets. PNGs at 192 and 512 px can be referenced in your own web manifest.
Image processing and generated artwork stay in your browser. Files are not uploaded by this tool.
Enter one or two characters, or upload a PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF, AVIF, or BMP image. A selected image replaces the characters.
Choose a background shape and colors. For uploaded logos, adjust padding to keep important details away from the edge.
Review the 16, 32, and 48 pixel previews. Download a single PNG, the multi-frame ICO, or the ZIP with PNGs and installation snippets.

Upload a square PNG logo, choose a solid brand background, and set padding to 12%. The image keeps its proportions and is centered inside the shape.
The package contains PNGs at 16, 32, 48, 180, 192, and 512 pixels, a favicon.ico with 16/32/48 pixel frames, and a plain text HTML snippet. The ICO uses 32-bit bitmap frames with alpha and transparency masks. The 192 and 512 pixel PNGs are available for a web manifest that you create separately.
Place the exported files at the paths used in the snippet, or edit those paths to match your site. Add the link tags to your document head. Browsers can cache site icons aggressively, so check a fresh browser session after publishing. Text uses your device’s system font; export on the device whose preview you approved.
