Leading zeros are data
A ZIP-like value 00123 remains five characters. The viewer never infers a number or strips the zeros.
Check a CSV file without losing leading zeros or changing long identifiers. View quoted multiline fields in a table, search records, and compare empty, distinct, and decimal-like values by column.
172 / 500,000 characters. Processing stays in this browser.
Limits: 10,000 data records, 200 columns, 200,000 cells. Fields remain text, including long IDs and leading zeros. Duplicate and blank headers are identified by column number.
All parsing and exports run locally in your browser. Example records are original fictional data, not an external dataset.
Paste CSV or open a UTF-8 text file, then select its delimiter and header policy.
Load the table and inspect column profiles. Search every column or one specific column.
Page through matching records and export the filtered table with the chosen formula and BOM options.

"Sam, Jr.","first line second line" is one record with two fields, even though one value contains a line break.
A quoted field can contain a delimiter or a line break. Parsing happens before searching, so a matching multiline cell retains its complete record. Search is a substring match; choose a column to avoid matching a value in the wrong field. The case toggle switches between exact case and lowercase comparison.
Empty counts include exactly empty fields, not cells containing spaces. Distinct counts compare the original strings and include empty values. Decimal-like counts recognize decimal syntax without changing types. Profiles cover all loaded records, while the table and export follow the active filter.
Values stay strings. Formula protection is enabled by default and adds a single quote before potentially active spreadsheet prefixes. Disable it when exact cell text matters. The optional BOM helps some spreadsheet applications recognize UTF-8. Output uses commas and CRLF record endings; duplicate or blank headers remain positional.
Yes. Each column is also identified by its position. No header is used as a JavaScript object key, so names such as __proto__ are ordinary data.
The table shows the first 500 characters per cell to stay usable. Copy and download contain full field values.
Up to 500,000 characters, 10,000 data records, 200 columns, and 200,000 cells. Oversized or inconsistent records return an error.
