Examples

Four-session plan

Four 25-minute work sessions, three 5-minute breaks, and one 15-minute long break make a 2-hour 10-minute schedule.

Try the behavior quickly

Quick demo loads two 12-second focus sessions and two 6-second breaks. Start it to observe phase changes without waiting for a full work period.

What this schedule includes

Each focus session is followed by a break, including the final session. Every fourth session gets the configured long break; other sessions get short breaks. Changing the session count does not change that four-session pattern.

Tracking the complete sequence

The elapsed schedule position determines the active phase. If a background update is delayed, the next update identifies the phase that should now be active rather than adding one delayed tick at a time.

Choose a useful rhythm

The preset is an editable example, not a productivity promise. Match the work period to the task, and plan enough recovery time. The completed-focus count increases when a work phase finishes.

What to know

  • Keep the page open and device awake. Background execution or sleep may delay visible transitions.
  • Up to 12 focus sessions; no saved session history.

Common questions

Can I change a duration during a session?

Reset first. This prevents an edited duration from unexpectedly moving the current phase.

Does this play a sound?

No. It is a silent visual timer and does not request notification or audio permissions.

What happens at the end?

After the last scheduled break the timer stops. Start again begins a fresh complete sequence.
